FROZEN PRODUCT CARE INSTRUCTIONS
STORE IN FREEZER IMMEDIATELY UNTIL READY TO CONSUME!

KEEP PIES FROZEN UNTIL READY TO SERVE. DO NOT ALLOW PIE TO THAW UNTIL READY TO SERVE.

Store pies in the freezer IMMEDIATELY!

Leave pies in packaging containers, place inside a jumbo ziplock bag and place into the freezer.

THAWING

Remove pies from the freezer and place pies (in their containers) in the refrigerator to thaw. PIES MUST BE THAWED IN REFRIGERATOR for temperature control to avoid bacteria growth and minimize condensation drips to keep those pies pretty or make them soggy. Pies take 3-6 hours to completely thaw. (I recommend placing pies in refrigerator overnight to thaw the morning before you plan to consume).

re-CRISP CRUST/re-CARMAMELIZE SWEET POTATO PIE TOP

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Remove thawed pies from the refrigerator and remove packaging. Reheat pie(s)in its aluminum pan or transfer to a baking dish. Place pies on the center of a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the center of the middle oven rack.

Heat for 20 minutes or until desired golden-brown sweet potato pie top and/or desired crust crispiness.

WANT TO FREEZE YOUR PIES or (re) FREEZE YOUR LEFTOVERS?

See 'How to Freeze' whole pies video at the bottom of this page.

Leftovers will be handled the same as whole pies to freeze, see How-to-Freeze video at bottom of this page.

Be sure to use a permanent marker or label to write on the bottom of the pie pans or leftover ziploc bag/container the following three dates:

1. Expiration date on the pie (expiration date listed on the pie)

2. Purchase date (date of the day YOU purchased pies)

3. Date of day you place pies or leftovers in the freezer

That way you know how many days you have left to eat it once you re-thaw… Muah!
